Minivans have seen a resurgence in the U.S., and while they are not widely available in America, the Ford Tourneo is a standout model in China. First introduced in 2015, the Tourneo is a premium seven-seater minivan equipped with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost diesel engine producing 217 hp. It offers luxury features such as adjustable seats, atmospheric lighting, and a Wi-Fi hotspot, making it a popular choice among Chinese consumers.

Ford’s iconic Transit van also has a special version for the Chinese market—the Transit T8. Launched in 2023, the T8 is built on the Qingtian platform and offers a 5.25-ton maximum load capacity. It comes in various configurations, with options for 2.0- or 2.3-liter diesel engines. While an electric version was initially rumored, it is not currently available. Despite this, the T8 is well-equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, optional vehicle-to-everything technology, and HEPA filtration.
