If you travel to work and wish to simplify your commute, here are seven essential tech and household items you should carry.
I’ve been taking the train to the office for several years and often travel for work, so I’ve become somewhat of an expert in commuting. From knowing which carriage has the most available seats to figuring out what to use if I need to start working on the train, I’ve refined my daily commute, thanks to the various items I carry with me.
From portable chargers to compact blenders, these seven essential devices and appliances help me stay productive while on the move and ensure I have something to eat in case of any delays – plus they all work well in the office setting.
1. Carl Friedrik Daily Use Backpack

I have tried numerous onesbest backpacksFor the Muara Digital Team, and the Carl Friedrik Day-To-Day Backpack is my top choice to bring to work. It offers plenty of space, including a 16-inch compartment for my laptop and both inner and outer pockets for stationery, keys, headphones, cables, and other essentials.
Even with its numerous compartments, the Carl Friedrik Day-To-Day Backpack offers ample room for larger items that don’t fit in the pockets, such as my lunch, book, and water bottle. The straps and zippers are durable, and the top of the bag can be rolled up or down based on how much you’re carrying. See myCarl Friedrik Daily Use Backpack Review for more details.
2. Sony WF-C500

Walking to and from the station is dull without music or a podcast, so I always have my Sony with me.earbudsWith me. They fit tightly in the ear, and although they don’t feature active noise cancellation, they effectively reduce outside sounds, while still allowing me to remain aware of my surroundings.
The Sony WF-C500 earbuds come with a compact travel and charging case that occupies minimal space in my large backpack. I enjoy using them to prepare for the day, stay focused while working at my desk, and relax as I walk home. See theSony WF-C500 review for more details.
3. Beast Mighty 850 Plus

To cut costs on eating out, I prefer to make smoothies and bring them to work. Thebest blenderI’ve found that the job is the Beast Mighty 850 Plus. The Beast entered the UKearlier this year and was created by the founder of Nutribullet, prioritizing ease of transport.
In contrast to the Nutribullet, the Beast Mighty 850 Plus attaches to the blender base and features a single-button operation for blending your smoothie. The aspect I enjoy most about the Beast Mighty 850 Plus is the variety of accessories included. Once I’ve prepared my smoothie, I keep it in the cup it was blended in and secure the straw lid and cap, allowing me to carry it in my bag without any leaks. When I arrive at work, I simply add the straw, and I have a homemade smoothie ready in the office.
4. Ninja Crispi

Bringing an air fryerTo work could seem unusual, but let’s be honest – nobody wants to microwave their meal after someone else used the shared appliance to reheat last night’s fish! However, this is just one of several reasons why Ninja created the Crispi, a compact, glass air fryer that serves as both a storage container and a cooking or warming device.
The primary unit of the Ninja Crispi attaches to your glass container of leftovers and warms it up no matter where you are – on the train, in the office, and more. It’s convenient to carry, light, and can fit into any bag. View ourNinja Crispi review for more details.
5. YETI Rambler 26oz Container

I have a terrible habit of not drinking enough water, so the only way I can stay hydrated during my commute and at work is by using a huge water bottle. The YETI Rambler 26oz Bottle can hold 769ml of water, and its insulated construction keeps it cool all day long.
The YETI Rambler 26oz Bottle is a large water container to carry – not with my Day-to-Day Backpack – but it’s comfortable to hold because of its handle lid. I have the chug cap version which makes it simple to drink from and it’s secure so it won’t leak inside my bag.
6. Ember Travel Cup 2+

For individuals who enjoy carrying tea or coffee while on the move, the Ember Travel Mug 2+ is a must-have. One of the standout features of the Ember Travel Mug 2+ is its advanced technology, which lets you adjust the temperature of your beverage, ensuring it remains at your preferred heat level for up to three hours, so your drink stays just right and doesn’t become overly hot or too cool.
I’m not good at making drinks at home and often forget about them until I’m at the office. To prevent that chilly, disappointing sip of coffee, the Ember Travel Mug 2+ has definitely solved that issue!
7. Anker Laptop Power Bank

If I’m traveling to another city for a press day or event, I always take the Anker Laptop Power Bank. Instead of carrying a large charger, apower bankhas ample power to charge my phone and laptop when I’m traveling.
The Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh serves as an excellent example, offering rapid charging, portability, and a 165W output. It also includes intelligent safety features that monitor the device’s temperature to prevent overheating. View ourAnker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh review for more details.
