Gosselin and her ex-spouse Jon Gosselin welcomed six children, named Collin, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah, and Joel, in May 2004. The former couple also has twin daughters, Mady and Cara.

In a TikTok clip from early this month, Gosselin honestly discussed the changes her body has undergone due to her pregnancy withher six children.

When I was pregnant with them, my stomach was pushed up here, about an inch. You can see that on an ultrasound,” Kate said in the video while pointing to her midsection. “And my bladder was squeezed down here, constantly compressed by the baby’s weight. Squeezed, squeezed, squeezed.

So when I had my C-section, they obviously inserted a full-length catheter,” she continued. “Like a long-term, indwelling catheter. I think they tried to take it out the next day. But all day, I couldn’t urinate. And I had this pain that kept increasing and increasing, and I was in terrible pain. I felt nauseous, my stomach hurt. It just kept getting worse and worse.

Gosselin remembered that her physician eventually instructed her to have a foley catheter placed, which is a tube inserted into the urethra to facilitate urine drainage from the bladder.

And it was filled one and a half times. A foley catheter bag is very large,” Gosselin stated. “I’m telling you, that’s an enormous amount of urine. And I’m telling you, it was filled one and a half times.

It turned out that my bladder had become so compressed that it could no longer perform its intended function. “It’s a muscle,” she added. “And it lost its elasticity or something like that.”

Gosselin stated that she used the catheter for seven days before going back to the hospital to get it taken out.

So when I finally did go, my bladder had a chance to, you know, relax and take a break, but ever since then, my bladder has never been the same,” she said. “I can’t really explain it or point to exactly what’s different, but it’s just not the same anymore.
