Brooke Hogan Calls Taylor Swift’s Music ‘Devilish’

Brooke Hogan’s Controversial Comments on Taylor Swift

Brooke Hogan, the daughter of the late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, recently made headlines after comparing pop star Taylor Swift to the “devil.” This shocking statement came in response to the release of Taylor’s latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” Brooke took to Instagram to express her strong disapproval of the album, with her post later being deleted.

In her original post, Brooke expressed concern over the content of the album. She wrote, “Literally changed the F word in a song because I had the thought of: ‘What if kids listen to this?’” She went on to say that after briefly listening to a new release by a very popular female artist, she was convinced that “the devil is working through music and television.”

Her comments extended beyond just the language used in the songs. Brooke claimed that the album contained elements that were not only offensive but also potentially harmful. “It’s beyond a cuss word. It’s a curse, it’s spells. Don’t be a sheep. Guard your gates,” she wrote. She urged parents to protect their children from what she perceived as negative influences.

Backlash Against ‘The Last Showgirl’

Taylor Swift’s latest album has not been without controversy. While some fans have praised the work, others have expressed disappointment. Kaeli Dance, a 26-year-old content creator, told USA Today that many fans feel let down by the quality of the album. “But they would have been disappointed regardless of how good each song is just because it is unfamiliar,” she added.

Dance explained that fans often have high expectations for Taylor due to the image they’ve built around her. “At this point, the idea of Taylor Swift looms much larger than the actual person and they believe they understand her because of their devotion to her music. When in reality, I don’t think many people know her deeply at all.”

Brooke’s Struggles with Her Father

Brooke’s comments come shortly after the passing of her father, Hulk Hogan, who died on July 24 at the age of 71. While his cause of death was officially ruled as a heart attack, the police are still investigating the incident.

After his death, it was revealed that Brooke had been excluded from Hulk’s will entirely. Last month, Brooke shared that she had asked her father to leave her out of his will, which included around $5 million in assets for his beneficiaries. “His decision is no surprise to me,” she told TMZ. “It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets. My dad knows I’m a hard worker and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time.”

Brooke emphasized that she has always supported herself through her own efforts. She also mentioned that money was never a priority in her relationship with her father.

Honoring Hulk Hogan

Despite years of estrangement, Brooke paid tribute to her father on Instagram following his passing. “My dad’s blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments,” she wrote five days after his death.

She described the emotional impact of losing her father. “When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us,” she stated. “He used to remind me, ‘All of this is temporary and I’ll always find my way back to you.’ I truly believe that — we will find each other in every lifetime.”

Brooke also spoke about how her father’s passing affected her. “I know he’s at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have,” she said.

A Changed World

Brooke concluded her tribute by reflecting on her relationship with her father. “All I ever wanted from my father was love, honesty and a deep connection,” she said. “And for a few special years, I had that — with memories that will last a lifetime. My world is forever changed. But I’m deeply blessed with a loving husband and two beautiful children who remind me every day of life’s greatest gifts.”

Since deleting her post about Taylor Swift, it appears that Brooke may have regretted her comments. Whether it was the backlash from Taylor’s fans or a change of heart, it seems she will be more cautious in the future.
