Bangkok is a city that never ceases to surprise with its vibrant culinary scene. From traditional afternoon teas to modern twists on classic dishes, there’s something for every palate. One of the most anticipated events is the “Essence Of Citrus Afternoon Tea” at Park Hyatt Bangkok. This unique experience celebrates citrus fruits from Asia and beyond, curated by pastry chef Fabrizio Zarate. The menu features a variety of sweet and savory delights, including a yuzu namelaka, pink grapefruit dessert, and a kalamansi Basque cheesecake. The savory selection includes smoked duck with kumquat and mandarin, as well as a foie gras terrine with yuzu preserves and raspberry.

Another standout is the “Swoon and Sip” afternoon tea at Greenhouse Restaurant, Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok. This elegant affair offers a range of savouries and sweets, such as Mango nascarpone mousse, Lemon macaron, and Beef ragout tart. It’s perfect for sharing with someone special. Meanwhile, Ms.Jigger introduces an Italian spin on the timeless high tea tradition with its “Espresso Intermezzo Afternoon Tea.” The set includes delicate savouries like tuna caper Piadina and mortadella-stuffed focaccia, paired with desserts such as Sicilian cannoli and hazelnut bomboloni.

For those looking for a more luxurious experience, the “Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok” offers a collaboration with renowned Thai artist Sasipan “Aura” Siriporn. The afternoon tea is complemented by an exclusive silk-satin scarf designed by Aura, making it a must-try for art enthusiasts.

Exciting New Dishes and Menus

Bangkok’78 has introduced a new line-up of meat-centric dishes inspired by the flavors of Thailand. The latest menu features premium meats and traditional techniques with a modern twist. Guests can enjoy six mouthwatering creations, including Grilled half chicken, Grilled Kurobuta pork chops, and Crispy German Kurobuta pork knuckle. The restaurant has also launched a new wine flight, offering a perfect pairing for the dishes.

At Red Sky Restaurant, Chef Luca Russo curates black truffle creations that are available every evening. The menu includes Salmon tartare, avocado and black truffle, or House-made tagliolini with egg and butter, finished with fresh truffle shavings. Other highlights include Burrata-filled ravioli with toasted hazelnuts and Pluma Iberica with pumpkin purée finished with black truffle.

Unique Brunch Experiences

Innside by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit offers a monthly brunch at The Kites Eatery. The event features a wide array of options, including seafood on ice, lobster, Mediterranean mains, a “build your own” egg station, Japanese corner, and a chocolate fountain. The brunch is curated by executive chef Katisak “Note” Pinkaew and includes a live band for added entertainment.

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is offering unforgettable Sundays with its “Themed Sunday Jazzy Brunch” series at Rossini’s and The Living Room. The events feature themed menus, such as “The Art Of Wellington,” which includes Beef Wellington, Lamb Wellington, and other variations, served with soulful live jazz.

Mooncake Delights and Cultural Celebrations

Dusit Hotels and Resorts is celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 with the launch of the “Heritage Bloom Collection.” The mooncakes are presented in packaging featuring traditional Thai art elements, Chinese border patterns, and vibrant red coral colors. The collection includes six flavors, such as Durian, Mixed nuts, Lotus seeds, Custard, Yuzu, and Tiramisu.

InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping invites guests to honor the historical ties between Chiang Mai and China with a collection of premium mooncakes, handcrafted at Hong’s Chinese Restaurant. The mooncakes come in lacquer-like boxes of deep jewel tones, with options ranging from classics like White lotus with salted egg yolk to innovative flavors like Golden lotus seeds with egg yolk lava.

Events and Experiences

The St. Regis Bangkok will hold “Cocktails, Tapas and Friends” on August 24 with Le Du Kaan and The St. Regis Saadiyat Island. The event showcases signature cocktails and Thai flavors with modern presentation. Viu at The St. Regis Bangkok will host a “Mediterranean Champagne Experience” on August 22, featuring a five-course tasting menu paired with cuvées from Champagne Gremillet.

K by Vicky Cheng will host a “Penfolds Pairing Dinner” on August 23, offering a seven-course set menu paired with Penfolds’ distinguished vintages. Sababa Mediterranean Izakaya is popping up at Bardo Social Bistro for a night of Mediterranean flavors, Japanese sake, and an artistic nude exhibition.

Stay and Relax

Devasom Khao Lak offers the “A Gift Of Time package,” which includes a “Stay 3 Pay 2 Offer” and various wellness activities. The package includes daily gourmet breakfast, complimentary mini bar, and access to signature Devasom Experience in-resort activities.
