How to apply eye liner for older skin
A skincare and beauty specialist for mature skin, Kat James, advises against starting an eye makeup look for mature eyes without properly preparing the area. “Begin with a lightweight eye primer to even out the surface and stop eyeliner from sinking into fine lines,” she explains.
From that point, carefully raise the eyebrow or extend the eye region without applying excessive force, as the skin in this area will be particularly delicate.
“Rather than drawing a continuous line, use the liner with brief, feathery strokes near the lash line for improved control,” James explains. After that, you can blend it as desired, which will also fix any errors and give the line a more unified appearance.
