Following several close calls, the crew of the Nautilus has finally come together. They are all eager to arrive at the Pillars of Halvar inNautilus season 1, episode 9.

Warning: This post includes SPOILERS forNautilus season 1, episode 9

Now that NemoHas become more familiar with the crew, he is now eating with them. This happens after he and Humility examine the marvels of the Northern Lights. This provides Nemo with an opportunity to share more about his life with his daughter, recounting a story about how he helped her overcome her fears of the night.

After that, the team needs to talk about what they’ll do with the treasure. Each of them has their own ideas, such as opening a bat in Tahiti (Lotte) or persuading Lotte to return to his home country of Thailand (Kai). As for Jaicomo, he’s simply trying to cope with the reality that he has no memory. It’s difficult to figure out what he wants without his memories, and I do feel likeNautiluscould have put in more effort to concentrate on this.

The Nautilus arrives at the Pillars of Halvar

After a long journey, the Nautilus finally reaches the Pillars of Halvar, which are as stunning as they have been described. Except for Suyin and Blaster, everyone goes to the water to retrieve the treasure, but there is nothing there.

Suddenly, they are all pulled from the water, and Nemo and his crew find themselves face to face with women. These must be Valkyries, tasked with guarding Freja’s treasure. Anyone who has sought the treasure in the past has met their end, and that is the fate awaiting the crew.

However, one of the women mentions that although they are responsible for safeguarding the treasure, there has never been a requirement for them to continue killing. Therefore, they choose to put Nemo on trial, as he is the leader of the ship.

Although there are some powerful statements made about Nemo that typically evoke emotions, the Valkyries choose to still eliminate Nemo and his team. In response, they all resist and fight back.

This is the moment Jaicomo begins experiencing tinnitus once more. I believe that engaging in combat might be the way for him to recover some of his memories. It seems as if they are attempting to push their way through. Fortunately, he manages to stay concentrated enough to fight, and the whole team leaps off the cliff into the water below.

Nemo takes the rubies from the leader before he can, but ultimately loses them. Cuff is struck from behind and is sinking into the ocean as Nemo leaps in, realizing he must rescue Cuff instead of pursuing the rubies.

The team returns to the Nautilus in episode 9

Luckily, the team manages to return to the Nautilus. Naturally, while they were going through their trial, Blaster and Suyin had to restrain a couple of the warrior women, allowing us to witness the kind of fighter Suyin is. There’s definitely something concealed about her that I would really like to uncover.Nautilus season 2 to have the opportunity to explore.

As the Valkyries come to understand that the world has changed without them, the leader concludes that there is only one method left to safeguard the treasure. They must conceal it, which requires activating the system they have maintained all along.

All the pillars collapse, creating a tidal wave in the center that endangers the Nautilus, but Nemo urges everyone to keep going. They must return through the narrow passage they originally entered.

After leaving, they have the chance to regroup. It’s unfortunate that the ruby is missing, but Turan mentions that nothing is entirely lost. He takes out a book and then flips it over. There is a large diamond on it.

Crawley gets ready for Nemo’s arrival

Of course, in the previous episode, Millais had informed Crawley that Nemo intended to go to London. It took this long for Crawley to receive the message, and he immediately starts working to safeguard the Company. He is aware of why Nemo is coming, and he is determined to take his revenge and obtain the Nautilus.

That’s his belief, at least. Nemo is already in London, and he’s examining the army that Crawley has assembled. The issue remains whether the rest of the team has aligned with him on this revenge mission, as many of them have reasons to oppose the Company. I suppose we’ll discover the truth in the…Nautilus season 1 finale.
